The Diocesan policy on Transgender students was written and presented by people most of whom haven’t been students in decades and who have no children. Parents of children now ought to be able to remember from their school days how powerful is the need to conform and fit in. Look at any picture from the 1970’s and you will find the same clothing styles and the same hair styles. It is the same case with music and speech. But in the case of Diocesan Transgender Policy the example set by transgender students is not harmless. We are not writing to condemn them for their struggle but to state that they are struggling and that it will have an effect on other children: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/michael-w-chapman/johns-hopkins-psychiatrist-transgender-mental-disorder-sex-change
